Thoracic surgery education
CTSurg IX
Board-style cardiothoracic surgery review with the full SESATS IX question set and optional AI updates.
About CTSurg IX
CTSurg IX is a self-assessment and review tool for cardiothoracic surgeons, trainees, and residents preparing for board examinations or keeping up their knowledge. It includes the full SESATS IX set of multiple-choice questions.
Each question has detailed answer choices, an explanatory critique, and supporting references, and many include radiographs, CT scans, or procedural media. You can choose how strictly questions are evaluated, which makes it easy to self-test or retry questions for reinforcement.
An optional subscription adds AI Updates, which give current clinical context, assess whether the original answer and critique still hold up, and summarize what has changed in cardiothoracic practice since the questions were written.
